Lilly's Bügelstube

Avoid if you care about your clothes! Ruined nearly all buttons on my suit. When I addressed it they said it’s washed at a third party so not their problem. They did not want to do anything to help me recover my suit. Still had to pay >30F for this.

This place is amazing! I we had two loads of laundry (1 load = up to 7 kilos) which they laundered dried and folded for 25 chf per load. Gave everything back sorted by their guess at each member of the family and perfectly folded. Great attention to detail. They even delivered it back to our hotel so I didn’t have to go pick it up.

Owner is very nice. 25 chf per load which seems to be normal around switzerland. Takes about 24 hours for her to finish and have the laundry ready. We did not have 24 hours in luzern so she was nice enough to tell us where a self laundromat was down the street (which ended up costing more but we had no time) .

Horrible experience. I paid 50 chf for 2 loads of laundry. One white and one dark. I put the clothes in 2 separate bags to be sure they didn’t get mixed up. I went back to collect my clothes, paid the fee and went back to my hotel where I discovered that my white clothes (including a white dress that I had just purchased in France) had dark pink spots everywhere...and there was a hint of grey/blue as well. Perhaps they washed both loads together. I went back to complain and the lady said that she had noticed the spots. Why she wouldn’t tell me about them when I pick up my laundry is beyond me. And to take my money on top of that is jus adding insult to injury. Anyways...she pretty much told me that I couldn’t prove that they ruined my clothes so too bad for me. I insisted on getting my 50chf back but she wouldn’t give me any money to cover the ruined clothes (probably worth over $1000).

Very friendly. Speaks English. Accepts Visa. Laundry looked great and smelled great!
